The Zoo!

We spent the afternoon at the zoo!  The Hyderabad zoo is large with numerous animals scattered about.  We saw several that were familiar and some that were not.  There was the cobra snake, black swans, white tiger, jaguar, pelicans, golden pheasants and more.  It also seemed as we were our own attraction at the zoo.  We got plenty of stares, was asked to hold a baby, Garrett had his face pinched by adoring Indians, Charlie was asked if we would gather for a photo, people would stop and watch us walk by.  It was all a little strange but it didn't keep us from seeing plenty of animals today.  Here are a few...

  1. We soooo enjoy your blog, and your excellent photos - you really have a great eye, and get such great expressions of the people. And now we see your talent for nature photography too! Along with some of your great people shots, you should also consider posting your white tiger shot for consideration for publication in National Geographic, at ngm.com/yourshot - each month, readers pick a shot and the editors pick a shot. And sometime during the year Costco runs a photo contest too! Anyway, it is really stunning - so well framed - great expression - right out of Jungle Book - WOW! In the US, all you usually see at the zoo is the partial back of the sleeping tiger, lying in the corner of a cement ledge, if you're lucky... Keep snapping those pics!
